Dr.Selvakumar is the best primary care physician that I’ve ever had. She is warm, compassionate, genuinely cares - and it shows. She is also an excellent diagnostician and has a network of great specialists. I couldn’t be happier with my care. I signed up my husband and have recommended her to all my friends!

Dr. Selvakumar has been my primary care doctor for the past few years. I would highly recommend her practice for anyone who is interested in getting convenient, fast, and thorough evidence-based care. The concierge fee is nothing to sneeze at, but I have found the amount of time and focus she can offer to her patients is totally worth it. It's also easy to get appointments! Something I didn't expect was the level of communication and coordination that she does with other specialists when I need a referral - I know that's what PCP's are supposed to do, but in my experience it's really rare and stands out about her care. I've really appreciated having Dr. Selvakumar as my doctor and look forward to continuing in the years to come.

Dr. Selvakumar is unlike any doctor I've ever had. She's caring, patient and actually listens to my concerns. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see her and when I do, I never feel rushed like I did at other office's I've been to over the years. I feel very comfortable with sharing all my health concerns with her because I know she'll care, even if it's the smallest of issues. To me, that's what makes a great primary care physician and I highly recommend Bloom Primary Care for anyone who's looking for a new primary care doctor.

I have been a patient at Bloom Primary Care now for about four months. For context, I am dealing with a long term issue, so I am in need of specialized care. Dr Selvakumar and her staff have been nothing but kind, responsive and caring throughout. I have worked with Lily in her front office to get my myriad of medical records transferred and she has made that process as painless as possible. Having the ability to email your doctor and get a same day response let alone a same day appointment is unheard of these days, but this practice really delivers on providing he best care possible. I highly recommend this practice and am grateful to have found such good care.

We were delighted to discover this outstanding concierge practice three years ago. Being new to CA, we found Dr. Selvakumar to be extremely helpful on so many levels. Here we found competent, caring and accessible medicine. She offers preventative as well as pertinent service. It is not unusual for a visit to last close to an hour, as knowing us personally is a high, welcome priority. There is rarely an appointment nor an office wait, and Lilly, her able assistant, is efficient and friendly. They both have made numerous house calls to aid with my husband, always of their own volition. The name change to "BLOOM" is perfect, as they will cultivate their patients from bud to blossom, and compassionately, beyond.

I've been a patient of Dr. Selvakumar for over a year. Dr. Selvakumar is my primary care doctor. She is wonderful and caring doctor. She is always available and quick to respond to my inquiries, calls and needs. She always has a good advise and suggestions for treatments and medications, which are needed at the time. Lily, at the front desk is also very helpful. She is very pleasant and always with a nice attitude and smile. Thank you much, Dr. Selvakumar and Lily.

After dealing with worsening health issues for over a year, I came across Dr. Selvakumar's office listing on Google. I was skeptical to sign up at first due to the associated concierge fee but I decided to go ahead and I am so glad I did! Dr. Selvakumar is a very caring doctor who listens patiently and doesn't jump into conclusions. She has been very re-assuring and friendly. She explains her diagnosis and treatment plan. So many doctors I have been to in the past have brushed off my concerns and put me on medications that caused extreme anxiety and sleeplessness, without acknowledging the side effects. Dr. Selvakumar is so different from all the doctors I have seen in the past! I am feeling a lot better now and I am so grateful to Dr. Selvakumar for the excellent care I have received so far. Lily at the front office is very efficient with scheduling appointments and answering any billing related questions. The office is also extremely diligent in following up on labs and responding to questions on the online portal. I highly recommend Bloom primary care.

By FAR the best experience I've had with a general practitioner. Dr. Selvakumar and her assistant, Lily, are both super friendly and professional. Their concierge style practice truly makes you feel cared for as a patient. My wife and I have always been seen on time. We've never had to wait past our appointment time. Dr. Selvakumar is VERY thorough, extremely compassionate, and always well thought out in her approach to our care. I feel like we have a real partner in our healthcare. Our appointments feel very open ended. We've never felt rushed. This isn't a your-20-minutes-are-up medical practice. Highly recommend.

I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Selvakumar! When we moved to the peninsula full time I asked my daughter’s friends for doctor recommendations — and a smart young woman told me how much she admires Dr. Selvakumar for her good knowledge and support — and particularly mentioned her empathy (a fancy word for bedside manner!). I have come to prefer woman doctors (all else being equal), and have felt completely comfortable with Dr. Selvakumar from our first meeting. She gives me as much time as I need, also her advice has been realistic and well-informed. Her assistant, Lily, runs the office with brains and efficiency — she keeps track of details, and is a pleasure to talk with. All in all a calm and competent atmosphere! We’re in good hands.

I have been a patient of Dr. Selvakumar for over 5 years. She is the most professional, personable and caring doctor that I have had. She always takes the time to listen to all my concerns; never rushes through any appointments. She takes a holistic approach to treating my health concerns, not just the symptoms. She is not the one to rush into writing a prescription but will look for the root causes. She always strives to set the patient on a pathways towards wellness, both physical and mental. Her clinic has held various seminars and talks on many topics such as healthy diets and nutrition. There was also cooking classes that showcase these healthy recipes. Dr. Selvakumar is the best! Her office is also very flexible and accommodating and very easy to make an appointment. And her staff, Lily is so friendly, always helpful and responsive to all my requests. I highly recommend her as your PCP!
